Defiance FC is a non-profit semi-professional soccer club that endeavors to provide a platform for talented players to access high level competition without the resource barriers that have placed amateur and youth football out of reach for so many passionate athletes. Defiance FC players are 100% funded, and receive guidance on college admission, recruitment, and job placement, as well as support in the transition to the professional game.
By opening our player pool to high school and college-aged players, Defiance FC aims to provide a space for athletes of all backgrounds to receive expert training from USSF licensed coaches, play against top competition in the region, earn opportunities for college exposure, and assistance in identifying opportunities for growth and advancement outside of the club.
Defiance FC is not your typical football club. We are as fiercely competitive off the field as we are on it. Our commitment to creating opportunities where few previously existed is guided by the individual goals and aspirations of our players. Whether a player hopes to one day play in college or professionally, pursue a trade, or start a business, Defiance FC can be their launching point. With the support of the club, our expectation is that every individual signed to the team will find their lives positively impacted both as a competitive athlete and as a person.
